Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada

When my spouse dies, how will his bebts be paid or 'forgiven'

My husband has no assets, no will , no estate, he only has debt consisting of a vehicle payment and credit cards. When he passes, I have a life ins. policy on him through my work, it has less value than he owes. He is on Social security A/B and has adequate medical ins. (he has additional medical through my work) Will the life ins. policy be used to pay his debts and/or will I be responsible for the balance of his credit?

Life insurance goes directly to the beneficiary(ies). However, since Nevada is a community property state, if you are the beneficiary, the creditors will look to you to pay for your husband's debt at death.
