Bree formula
what is the bree formula for settling a lien on my case? A third party caused the injury in an auto accident while I was on the clock in a company vehicle. They now have a lien on my personal injury case which will be settled using the bree formula in the state of Nevada

Based on an old case and some defunct math equation set out in that case.
Bottom line is that this is not actually used in real practice. Typically, the any third-party settlement is split up three ways between the work comp insurer, the injured worker and the attorney.
