Can a medical provider lien a worker's compensation claim ?

Re: Lien's
In Nevada, if there is an accepted wc claim and the provider has provided treatment for a work injury they must submit the medical bill to the wc insurer.
If the claim has been denied, then the provider should submit medical bills incurred up until the date of claim denial to the wc insurer and the wc insurer should pay. Technically, any and all treatment provided for a work injury never is the claimant's responsibility, but wc insurer's will commonly take the position that they are not liable for medical bills incurred after the date of claim denial. The provider is not supposed to be able to bill you for any unpaid medical bills incurred for a work injury, but they will still try.
I hope this helps.
