Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Hampshire

Creditors

If a creditor was discharged in Bankruptcy court and I still receive invoices even after sending them a letter advising them of this discharge, what specific rights do I have in dealing with them. They received the discharge notice, and continue to invoice me for these services..months following the discharge!

Can I file any type of suit for punitive damages for harrasment?

Thanx!

Re: Creditors

Yes, but don't expect too much money if all they do is send bills. But you will get an order to stop.

Re: Creditors

You could ask a clerk in the bankruptcy court for guidance, how to take action. Unless you had a lawyer help you with the bankruptcy case, in which case call him or her.
