Legal Question in Business Law in New Hampshire
Employment Termination due to Refusal to Travel to Dangerous Locations
Is there any legal precedent for wrongful termination of employment if an employee refuses to travel to a country considered risky by the US State Department?
Does it matter if there is no special reason why that particular employee should make the travel commitment, or if there were already employees of the Company who were Nationals of that country already located there, who would be able to fulfil the needs of the Company?

wrongful termination is a legal term, and assumes misconduct. It may depend in large part on the nature of the legal employment relation with your employer. I think it may be a question that has not been litigated.
