Legal Question in Business Law in New Hampshire
First of all I realize that a LLC can protect your private assets... but how do you protect your LLC from being sued or someone coming after you because your a member within a LLC??

An LLC creates a "person" for legal purposes. It can sue and be sued. The question is whether or not if the LLC is sued, what assets are exposed to the claim. Generally, if properly formed and properly managed, an LLC has exposure only for the assets owned by the LLC, not the assets of the members.
If you are sued pesonally for something not related to the LLC, your membership interest in the LLC may be exposed to liability claims as would any other assets.
These are somewhat complex legal issues and should be reviewed with an attorney before taking any significant action.
