You should contact a New Hampshire attorney immediately and endeavor to get your money back before it is too late. You don't know if this company is on the verge of bankruptcy and they might have already used your money to pay someone else. If you delay, you may never see that $9,000 again.

To answer your question, you can't be held to buying a vehicle you were merely interested in. However, if there is a signed writing in which you agreed to buy a vehicle, you can be held to that and the terms of the signed writing will govern whether or not you are entitled to back-out or get a refund of your deposit.

If you decide to hire an attorney, please keep us in mind.
