Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Hampshire
mortgage
Our mortgage company sold our mortgage as of Sept. 1st. On sept5 the the old mortgage company withdrew the mortgage from our account. Then on Sept 15th the new mortgage compant withdrew again from our account. Apparently the old mortgage company wired the new mortgage company (without us knowing) the payment on the 7th of Sept.. For weeks we have been trying to get our money back, plus fees (overdrafts on our account) and we have failed. NO one will return phone calls from either one of the companies. We contacted the banking commissioner and filed a complaint...however they had to forward it to another dept. Is there something else we can do. Can we go to small claims for this? Should we take any other legal action?
Thank you for your time.

Re: mortgage
A letter from an attorney FAXED or e-mailed into their LegalDept can do wonders.
