being sued in small claims court
i was sued in small claims court and lost. i requested a continuance for repayment hearing was denied and warrant was issued. what happens next and how does the warrant affect my daily life? do the police come to my door and arrest me?

If a warrant was issued, you are subject to arrest. This means thatthe police could come and arrest you (some towns have a warrant squad, or make arrests for warrants on slow days), or they could wait until they encounter you (being pulled over for speeding or something minor). The best route is to self report to the COURTHOUSE, pay the warrant removal fee, and set a new hearing date.
