Re: bench warrant

If you have a warrant you should turn yourself in. You can turn yourself in to any law enforcement agency but the best thing to do, if possible, is turn yourself in to the court that issued the warrant so you can try to address a judge and clear it up on the spot. If the warrant is just over a fine, often the amount of the warrant equals the amount of the fine -- meaning if you are arrested you can post that amount in bail and get out. This doesn't have to be the case though. You can probably find out the amount of the warrant by calling the court that issued it.
