Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Hampshire
Class A Felony
I worked for this company in NH for 4 months. I was given permission from the owner's daughter to take money from the register at will and repay when i could without her father knowing. She changed inventory systems, brought her inventory loss to the attention of her father, they took it the the police and now i am being charged with a Class A Felony for deprivement on monies. Other past employees have also done the same thing. When i was charged with this crime in September, i was denied an attorney, never read my rights and still have no attorney with my arraignment tomorrow morning. I am scared and have no idea what to do. What do you suggest?

Re: Class A Felony
If the District Court finds that you are unable to afford an attorney, it will appoint you one at the arraignment. If you are able to afford an attorney, you should retain an experienced criminal defense attorney as soon as possible. When you find out who your attorney is, make an appointment to speak with them as soon as possible. Don't talk to anybody but your attorney about this matter. If you have further questions feel free to e-mail me. Good luck.
