In the state of new hampshire, If an invividual is convicted of assault, Will he be required to pay restution?

If convicted in a criminal court, Can there still be a civil suit filed for damages?

Since no New Hampshire attorney has come forward to answer this question, my answer would be that new Hampshire law is likely quite similar to Virginia's on these two issues, and therefore as to your first question a judge could order the convicted one to pay restitution for damages(if such occurred) caused or arising from the criminal assault, and, yes, in answer to your second inquiry, the injured one could also file a separate civil case against the perpetrator for the damages which he or she suffered resulting from the assault.
