Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Hampshire
Dropping domestic violence charges
I was wondering if once a file is submitted on domestic abuse and the other person is arrested, is there any way to drop the charges / case? This is not something I think needs to be pursued and put on the other persons record.

Once a complaint is issued, the matter is in the prosecutor's hands and control -- it assumes a life of its own.
