is it legal to place a gps tracking device in a spouses car.The car is titled and registered under both husband and wifes name.Can it be placed in the car without the other spouse knowing about it?

The owner of a car may install a tracking device; this is routinely done with systems such as LoJack for assistance in locating a vehicle that has been stolen.
