our son's lawyer is putting in a motion to withdraw he said the rules of professianal conduct, we would like to know what that means

The rules of professional conduct govern how a lawyer acts during representation. There are many reasons why a lawyer could possibly withdraw. For instance, a conficlt of interest involving a former client (most lawyers will not represent a person if a former client is deeply involved in the case), other reasons include a breakdown in the attoreny client relationship. Without more, it is hare to determine the exact reason.
