Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Hampshire
Reckless Conduct
I was charged with four counts of reckless conduct for a traffic accident. I was charged with endangering the 3 people in my car and the person I had the accident with. Is it possible to have a grand jury bring charges without someone in my vehicle giving a statement against me??

Re: Reckless Conduct
Probably. They can use statements from any other witnesses and yourself, if you gave one. It is very easy for the state to obtain a grand jury indictment. There is a much lower burden of proof for them to get an indictment than for them to get a conviction.
