Legal Question in DUI Law in New Hampshire

underage drinking

me and 5 buddies were at a inn in north conway new hampshire. We were kind of loud cops came n we were very polite. we were arrest for possesion of alchoal. bail was se at 30 dollars we were in holding cell untill we sobered up. we were very good with cops. we had them laughing they had us laughing. they told us to bring 360 dollars to court on the 22. and maybe lose license for what reason i dont know why do you think i will? the officers told lady that did our bail to put in good word we were very polite and coop. again i know i selected drnk driving area, but i dont know what other area i should select. we took breathalizers, but rights were not read. but again we were very good with cops. no cuffs needed for all 6 of us. we were not searched. the girls were treated good got food and watch tv till bail. guys put into holding tanks. alls im worrying about is license. we were not driving. other then that just 360 due at court. do you think i need a lawyer to defend this small case i am going to plead guilty since i took a breathalizer at my hearing, no trial. and how long do you think i will be in court. any terms our any advice for me in court to help me out? thank you so much

You did no clearly state what charge or charges have been filed against you. Without that detailed information, it is difficult to respond.

Since the police did not question you, there is no requirement for them to "read you your rights."

You should consult with an attorney who is familiar with the charges against you in order that you may make a proper decision.

Alcohol offenses may, in in some circumstances, have a negative impact on your ability to obtain funding for college, obtain a security clearance, or enter military service. These are not items which are addressed in the local court setting.
