adopting my fiance's son
What steps are involved with adopting my fiance's son. the biological father has never in 3 1/2 years made a legal claim to him in order to avoid child support and has never played a consistent role in his upbringing.

Adoption would require a termination of the biological father's rights (as a matter of law) and the adoption would have to be demonstrated to be in the best interests of the child. Please contact me if you would like our office to assist.
