child counseling

do i have to give my 15 year old child counseling because he wants it?

The technical legal answer is, "no." However, age 15 is a tough time for most kids. I the child is requesting this type of assistance, think carefully if it should be withheld. Most kids won't ask for help unless they really want it. Talk with you child's counselor at school to see if there is something going on which deserves some attention and support.
