Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

Child Support affected by remarriage

My fiance has been divorced since 1994. The time of the divorce they both lived in MA and her and her new husband now reside in NH, her new husband works in NH, my fiance works in MA. He pays over 200.00/wk for child support. His X-wife does not work. She has worked in the past but not much. She just got married for the 3rd time about 9 mo ago and had another child w/this man. This makes 3 children w/3 different men. She is not going back to work b/c of her 1yr old child she said she wants to be a stay at home mom. They have ''Joint Legal Custody with physical being with the Wife.'' that is how it is stated in the divorce decree. How does that work (with his income) now that she is re-married and lives in his home and the household income has now changed. Also how will it work if we get married with my income and our household income. Thank You for your time!

Re: Child Support affected by remarriage

What you have explained does not affect what your husband currently pays for child support. The only thing that would usually affect the child support would be if your husband's income changed substantially (i.e. he earned less or more). Maria Murber
