child support in NH

My 7 year olds father has not paid any child support nor has he been involved in her life. I live in New Hampshire and I was wondering if I am owed back child support.

Child support is created by an order of the court. You did not indicate if there were any legal proceedings between the two of you at the time you separated. If not, legal proceedings requesting child support can be started. If the father is not in New Hampshire it may be easier to take action in the location where he resides. There are other options, but you should hire an attorney to more fully advise you as to your rights and options to deal with this matter.
