Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire
Domestic violence hearing.
I please need to know how to be preparred for this hearing.Wife and I are separated and she tried to get a resraining order put on me but was denied.A hearing was set for May,17th.She is doing this because of me getting her boyfriend to stay away from my kids.He is a convicted felon in Fl.He moved in on my invite and a week and a half later she said she wanted a divorse.I asked the other guy to move out because I told him I wanted to try and rescue my family.I did not think anything was going on with them till the next morning I found out they had met in a parking lot.Well I convinced him to stay away from her cause I thought he was a friend.3 times he stayed with us till he got on his feet.Orignally he was a co-worker.I found out he went looking for crack while he lived with me but did not know till after he moved out.On the domestic violence issue I was raised right.I was taught never to hit a girl and anyway I am not a violente person. In the course of our marrige thou she has hit me at least 4 times and I told her one more time I was going to call the police.I love my twins with everything and to be resricted from seeing them whould detroy me.But in the same I do not want to have them taken away from there mother.Thank you
