Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

I am a father seeking to modify my visitation rights, but my ex has put a one year restraining order on me, I can not contact her in any way because I'll violate the order. Does that mean I cannot see my daughter for a year. I love my kid very much and would really like to see her again.

This is a rather complicated situation. You would need to have grounds to file a request with the court to Modify The Parenting Plan. It is truly fact driven. The Petition would need to be filed with the Court with a request that the Court forward it to her so do not violate the terms of the restraining order. As to the contents of the restraining order, does it pertain only to contact with your Ex or does it contain language preventing contact with your daughter? The specific details may change the approach available to address your concerns. I suggest that working with an attorney would be in your best interest.
