Re: i'm being faulsely accused of neglect
If this girl you know reported you and your fiance to the division of children youth and families with no proof, the abuse and neglect charges should be dismissed at the first hearing. The reporter must have some proof or the charges will be found to be groundless. These matters are usually processed pretty quickly in the district courts. You should hire a lawyer or apply to to court for one. Generally the court will appoint somoeone to represent the children who will focus on the best interests of the children; if you and your fiance are good parents you should have nothing to worry about. The children should be able to vouch for your parenting skills and verify that your fiance is not abusive
