You can not be serious. If your 'friend' is going through a 'best interests' evaluation so that the Court can decide who gets custody of the children, then your friend needs an attorney. Not some advice over the internet. This is her kids' lives at stake here.

The Court will want to know a great deal about the kids, the mother and the father. I could not summarize any of this. Your friend needs to get a decent divorce attorney working for her, immediately, today, now.

The question should be what is he saying about her and what evidence is there to refute what he is saying and what evidence is there as to her being a nurturing, competent mother.

As the other attorneys indicated, your friend needs to throw everything out there. You need to jump on this now so that probation just doesn't "take their word for it". Thus, you need to refute any specific allegations, show everything that portrays your friend as a good parent and then try to show how the other parent is not a good parent. I also agree with the other attorneys that you could really use an attorney now.
