Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

Juristdction In A Restraining Order Case

My estrange wife took out A PFA against me in New Hampshire. I live in Pa, The alleged incidents took place here back in according to her in Oct.'99 and continued the whole 6 months we were married, I have to be in New Hampshire on the 7th of august, I cannot afford a lawyer up there and know that if i show up unrepresented i will lose and don't have a chance, Is there anyway to have the case transfered back here where i can at least provide witnesses and so forth? Her lawyer up ther claims she is a resident of the stte she has only lived there 2 months........She's claiming i owe her money but i an prove that the debts already existed...amongst other things...

Re: Juristdction In A Restraining Order Case

You could go to New Hampshire and argue jurisdiction but as you stated in either state you really need a lawyer.
