How to legally seperate from marriage

Hello. Could you tell me what steps I must take in order to have a legal seperation in N.H ? My husband and I both agree we need to be seperated but yet not divorced. How could we get this matter solved? Thank you for your time today..

A legal separation requires that you do everything you would for a divorce;you divide everything; determine custody, etc. The main difference is that you cannot remarry. Most separations are converted to divorce. You should still goto an attorney and draw up a detailed separation agreement. There is a lot more to it than you think.
