Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

I am going through a nasty custody battle where my ex's father and step mother have guardianship over our daughter. My ex wants custody but the guardians will not give up custody to her and are making it a nasty battle. Is there a way that I could just let them fight over the custody as long as I am able to keep my visitation?

There may be more legal entanglements than you have stated. New Hampshire no longer deals with "custody." We have shared parenting rights and responsibilities. I would need to look at your divorce decree to better determine what options might be available. I urge that you continue extercising whatever regular contact you have with the child(ren) and don't miss any of your time with them.

The issue that needs to be explored is what is in the best interest of the chldren and why are the generation above you involved in this matter. I urge that you consult with an attorney so that all the facts and circumstances may be fully explored.
