Non payment of agreed amt in divorce decree
My ex refused to pay all of the medical costs for our two dogs that he agreed and signed on the divorce decree. He continues to only pay half, and says that is all he is going to pay. ( the amts he hasn't paid are adding up, It's now up to about $300.00 and growing) What can I do to collect the rest of the money?

As with any court order directing that someone pay an expense, when someone is not paying as directed under the order, you may go to the court to file a petition for contempt (or similar document in your jurisdiction) to compel him to pay. Filing the petition usually has a filing fee. The court will then usually schedule a hearing. Depending on the facts of the situation with the dogs, he could testify or file a cross type of motion which states that it is more fair that you both share the expenses for the dogs.

My personal opinion is that since the dogs equally belong to you and him, and that since he has paid half, you should pay the other half.
If I said anything else, you would probably not appreciate it; so let me stop while I am ahead.
