Return of ''engagement'' ring
If a man gives his girlfriend an engagement ring for her birthday & he breaks off the engagement & requests the ring to be returned, does she (legally) have to give it back?

This question does not have a clear anawer. A birthday gift is a birthday gift. Delivery is intended as a gift. An engagement ring is intended as a committment to a future marriage.
