Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

my rights

i have been married only two and a half years. i moved into my husbands home with my three children when we married.(they are not his and he has not adopted them) i am not on the deed to the house. i gave up all my furniture and the like when i moved in. i just want to know what my legal options are. do i have any rights to the home or a settlement? he makes a great deal more money then i do and i will be moving soon with my children.

The court will do what is fair after considering all the evidence. I would argue that you have a right to some of the increase in equity in the home after you got married. Depending upon the circumstances, you may be entitled to a buyout, alimony, and other support depending on the facts. What's working against you is the brevity of the marriage.
