Legal Question in Medical Leave in New Hampshire

husband terminally ill with cancer

i lived in the state of n.h. and my husband was diagnosted with pancreatic cancer which has spread to his liver.my husbands family lives in va.his dying wish was to go back to va.to spend the rest of his daysi submitted a letter of resignation to my employer stating i had to resign due to my husbands illness i felt i could not perform my job up to my standards.i worked for a home health and hospice agency as a lisined nursing assistant.when i moved to va. the state does not reconize the n.h. license for my field.i filed for unemplyment in the state of n.h.where i was employed for 6 yrs.i just recived a letter from nhes saying i was denied because my husbands terminal illness was not a cause for leaving my job .i have filed an appeal.what are my chances of winning this and can you give me some advice on what grounds to use for this ilness.i have no income my husband is now in the hosp. and has suffered a stroke to make matters more complicated.the only income i have is his s.s.i cant pay my rent or utilities and really need the income from the unemplyment.please help me.thank you for your time

Unfortnately, I would have to conclude that you probably have little chance of winning your appeal from the denial of your claim for unemployment benefits from the state of New Hampshire based upon the facts which you've outlined here in your question.
