Legal Question in International Law in New Hampshire
International Law
My question is as follows
If I am a citizen of Europe, residing in the US. temporarily, on a student/tourist Visa but am not an American citizen, do I have the legal right to file a lawsuit against an international company based in Europe with subsidiaries in the U.S? The specific U.S. state in question is New York.

Re: International Law
Access to the U.S. courts is not denied to anyone based upon citizenship. If the defendants are properly amenable to suit in NY, and the subject matter of the suit concerns and act or occurrence in NY (rather than Europe), then the forum should be proper. We can provide more specific advice if you contact us directly with particular facts.
Best wishes,
