International Utility Patent

What is the best way to file an international patent and how much money is involved?

HOw can I find out whether I am chosing the right patent attorney?

No such thing as an "international patent." It is possible to file a single application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty regime, but it devolves into individual applications in whichever of the member countries you wish to prosecute (at very considerable expense).

You should consult with a patent lawyer to discuss your needs in terms of protection (US and abroad) and your budget. Best wishes,
