Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in New Hampshire

Juvenile - property damage
I am co-guardian of my 13 year old nephew. 6 weeks ago he hit one of his teacher's vehicles at school with his empty backpack. He was suspended for 5 days. Now 6 weeks later we receive a call from police regarding $1200.00 damage to the vehicle and they want to question him. I refused..what can happen?
