Legal Question in Employment Law in New Hampshire

My boss and his brother crack jokes about me being gay even though I am,not. This has been going on for 9 months,now everyday im the center of the bullying but im afraid to fight back because he is my boss and his,brother I dont want to get fired. Can I sue?

Yes, you can sue. Whether you are gay or straight, New Hampshire prohibits workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation.

However, you might be even MORE uncomfortable at work after you sue them for workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation than you are now. As I've recommended previously in these forums, you might be better off addressing the issue, on your own, internally. If you are subsequently fired for honestly trying to address the issue- then you should contact me to discuss filing a claim.
