Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

Foreclosure

My daughter & family are behind 3mo in mortgage payments. She is working, parttime because of illness. He is out of work because of surgery, P.T. etc., and there are 4 children. She went to the mortgage co to make a payment the day that the 3rd month came due and they refused the money. She has submitted a package outlining a payment plan with what money they have. She is willing to sign over their Economic Stimulus check (1800.00) when it is deposited 5/2/08. She was told she has until 4/18/08 to pay the whole amount. The woman looking at and decideding on her package has until 4/15/08 to make her decision. What should she do with the payment she has, that they refused? Anything else she can do?

Re: Foreclosure

No, not much, except, perhaps, ask to speak with the "higher ups" in charge of the mortgage company.
