Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire
I just learned that Nonrefundable monthly pet fees are illegal in NH (our security deposit matched our first months rent, and we are being charged $25 a month for our cat) can I ask for that money back? It IS in our lease that I signed.

Pet Deposits may be illegal if they cause the deposit to exceed one month's rent. Pet RENT, however, is permissible.
