Lease Agreements

I live with my ex-fiance, my 12 yr old daughter and his 17 yr old daughter. We recently ended our engagment and he has began to be verbally abusive. Is there anyway I could get out of my lease so my daughter and I are not subjected to his verbal abuse any longer? My lease doesn't end until 04/08 and we are both on the lease.
