Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

I am not on a lease but am renting. My landlord is not making the necessary repairs we have requested in writing. What are my rights/options?

There's a fair amount of detail which would be helpful in responding to your question. However, the first option when you do not have a lease is to give required notice (generally 30 days) and vacate the property. It is often easier to leave than to try to force a landlord to take action. At that point the landlord has the right to raise the rent.

If the problems relate to habitability, you may report them to the local building or health officer. Just be sure that your rent is current at the time you make your report.
