rental/lease agreement

is it legal for a landlord living in Hawaii to rent a property in New Hampshire using a rental agreement from Hawaii (Hawaii Association of Realtors Standard Form)?

You have raised issues of both contract and copyright. I do not know if the Hawaii document is copyright protected, and will offer no opinion.

As to New Hampshire, any form of agreement may be used between the parties so long as it does not violate New Hampshire law.

You may wish to hire an attorney to review the document and advise you as to your rights.
