Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

We have been renting a mobile home from a dear friend. They neglected to tell us they were in eviction. The land owner sent a notice to quit/ writ of possession. We responded by going to court and the land owner failed to show is it legal to still lock us out?

Most likely, "NO." If the evicting party did not show, then you should have prevailed. They need a Writ of Possession an Sheriff to conduct a fully lawful lockout.
