loss of wages and restituion

I was in a car accident that is totally the others fault I was wondering if I could be compensated for my lost wages since I was unable to work.

Absolutely. Even if you have health insurance, you can also be compensated for your medical expenses from doctors, physical therapy, prescriptions and even travel to and from medical visits. Your medical insurance might require that you repay them if you should collect from the party who was a fault.
