Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Hampshire
I tripped over steel rebar stakes that were outside the front entrance while leaving Rite Aid. Luckily I did not fall directly on the stakes or it could have easily killed me or injured me alot more seriously. I am pretty banged and bruised up and was bleeding when I filled out the report with the store manager. I am waiting until the morning, and if the swelling and pain isn't better I was going to go to the emergency room to be seen. The parking curb that was supposed to be attached to these stakes was a couple feet away from the stakes and there was nothing clearly marking or covering them. They were not easily seen and were very dangerous. A few minutes after my fall the manager and a coworker had dollies tryng to lift the curbing back onto the rebar stakes. My question is is this worth pursuing.

It seems the liability issue--that is, whether the property owner was negligent--is pretty clear. Whether or not you have a claim worth pursuing legally will depend on what injury you actually suffered. Don't be shy about getting the proper medical attention. Then, if it is something more serious than just a few bumps and bruises, consider calling a lawyer who specializes in personal injury law. Most injury lawyers will be happy to talk to you for free to assess your potential case.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
