Quit Claim Deed?

Couple living together not married, house purchase done in one partners name only due to credit. How can I protect my intrest in the property since I pay half of everything?

You can have partner do a deed to both of you. However, the mortgagee (bank) might have a provision that the loan comes due if you do that.

Best advice talk directly to a lawyer; don't be penny-wise pound foolish on this. This issue comes up a lot.
