Unlawful eviction -- due to animals
I am researching the above mentioned subject for an employee of mine. She feels she has been wrongfully evicted and is interested in self representation in a NH court to file suit against the landlord of her condo due to being asked to vacate because of a complaint received regarding her dogs barking. She has 2 well behaved dogs, lived there for 6 years and has asked all her neighbors if they have ever presented a "noise problem" and have found no one to say they have. She would like to know which statute applies and where to look up similar cases (NH court cases, preferably). I have researched RSA 540 but find it to be so broad that it really isn't applicable. Am I missing something? Thank you.

If the person is a renter then RSA 540 is most likely the applicable statute combined with your lease and/or condominium documents. Not clear if person is a renter or condo owner.
If a renter and they try to evict, they must give a reason and you can contest the eviction in court. The burden is on the landlord to prove that you are in violation of the lease subjectingyou to eviction.
