Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Hampshire
I am wondering abou disclosure
I looked at an apartment that was for rent. During the walk through I asked if there was parking avaliable. The landlord said that there was, cars were to be parked either in the street or in the church parking lot next door. I ended up signing the lease for the apartment. After I signed the lease, the landlord also asked me to sign a parking contract. It stated that cars could only be parked in the church lot during the evening hours. He said that they were the churches rules, not his. I was in a rush to get back to work and I signed the parking contact. I had a chance to think about it that day and I want out of the lease that I signed. If he had told me about the parking restrictions, I would have never signed the lease in the first place. Can I break the lease because he did not disclose this info to me until after I signed the lease? Thank you.

Hard to tell if the agreement to park is separate from the lease. A lawyer would have to look at both. Regardless, you should act quickly. If you are liable under the lease and the landlord has early notice you will not honor it, he must rent it as soon as he can to minimize any damages you may owe.
