Legal Question in Social Security Law in New Hampshire

Crohn's disease and Fibromayalgia

I need to know if I can get any benefits somewhere. I have Crohn's disease and Fibromayalgia and been out of work for around 3 months. I have a wife and three small kids to worry about. Don't know what to do?

Disability under social security is a term of art. You can be determined disabled if you have a physical or mental impairment that is so severe you can't do your previous work and considering your age, education and work experience cannot engage in any substantial gainful employment.

Your impairment must last at least 12 months or be expected to last at least 12 months.

Make an application to SS and make sure they have all your medical records. If they deny you contact a lawyer immediately.
