Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Hampshire

Falsely accused of Speeding, was not shown radar when requested
I was pulled over in Swanzey for going approximately 55 in a 30. I know I wasn't going that fast. When I aske dthe officer if I could see the radar he responded, quite rudely,''I didn't lock it in and even if I did I wouldn't show you.'' I was under the impression that an officer had to show you radar. If they don't than how can they prove I was going that fast? How do I get out of this unjust fine?

A more polite officer would show you the radar, although his failure to "lock it in" would prevent him from doing so.

You have no right to see the radar screen read out.

Go to court, tell the Judge your story, and hope for the best. There is not much else you can do.

Often times the officer won't show up, and you will then win by default unless he has a good excuse and is granted a continuance.
