Hi i am looking to change the name of my ex-husband on my mortgage as I am the one paying the payments and he has remarried.

You cannot do that without the permission of the Bank. Unless the Bank is willing to release your Ex or have another person substituted, he is still liable for the obligation as far as the Bank is concerned.
